Food will be provided in the Temple Visitor’s Center from 11am-1pm, the stake will also reserve the 10 am baptistry slot for our use.

What’s better than one institute class? All the institute classes! Join us for a combined institute event with Chick-fil-a dinner, a variety of classes, and bingo at the end of the night. Make new friends, learn about the gospel, and hone your bingo skills.

On March 22nd, all YSA’s in the DMV area are invited to participate in a YSA Special Stake Conference. We will have the privilege of hearing from Elder Ulisses Soares of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, Elder Ronald M. Barcellos and Elder B. Corey Cuvelier, both General Authority Seventies.

This special Stake Conference will be held at the DC Stake Center, which is the church building by the Temple and will begin at 9:30AM. Due to this meeting, there will be no other meetings that day.

Lunch will be provided after the conference.

Elder Robert M. Daines of the Seventy, and his wife Ruth Daines, will speak at a YSA Devotional that will be broadcast to all YSAs in the North America Northeast Area (NANE) on May 18 at 7pm ET.

Elder and Sister Daines will be speaking on the theme of this year’s Area YSA Conference, hosted in Washington, D.C. on September 19-21. The theme is “The Best is Yet to Come!” from President Nelson’s October 2024 talk.

Having just spoken to us during Stake Conference this month, Steve and Cindy Keung will be speaking to us again on May 18 at 6pm ET.

Both from Auckland, New Zealand, President and Sister Keung currently serve in the Washington, D.C. Temple Presidency. They will share their faith journey, which includes their being planted in the “…nethermost part of (His) vineyard,” (Jacob 5:13) in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

The fireside will be in English with interpretations available in ASL. The fireside will also be livestreamed here.
